Living History Series

Living History Museums are wonderful family experiences. But the learning opportunities are not limited to families. Have you ever walked the fields of a long ago battle, or stood at a rushing river, wondering what it felt like a hundred years ago? Well Living History Museums can transport us like a time machine.

As I researched for this series I found that the re-enactors take their history very seriously. They research the clothing and food, the language and social norms, the transportation and weapons of their respective time periods.

I have recently moved West to Arizona and have a whole new region to explore Living History venues. Stay tuned for more.
